We are currently recruiting for a leading technology firm that supply a range of property management and guest engagement software to the hotel and hospitality industry.

We are looking for Business Development Executives to manage regions in the East and West of England. It’s remote working so will consider applications from people that have strong access to transport links.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team and take responsible the continued development of new business for a region in the UK.

You will be responsible for the full sales life cycle, this is a hands-on role that will include the identification, qualification and maximisation of new business opportunities. Leading to the negotiation of business solution sales at all levels in your defined territory.

So, what are we ideally looking for?

We are looking for someone with the right behaviours & attitude in this role, you must be sales driven, customer focused, passionate on customer service, bold in your way of thinking and tech savvy.

Given the role is focused on delivering a range of Hotel PMS, distribution or PoS systems, it would be a great advantage to have worked with similar systems or have a strong working knowledge of the hotel environment.

We’re ideally looking for someone who understands the hotel industry and has a strong sales & relationship management background and can forge strong relationships & sell into senior management and decision makers of hotel groups.

The hotels will range in size from small independents to larger corporate clients so you must be confident in dealing with all levels of management and business owners.

You will be working remotely so you must be self-driven with the ability to organise and manage your time effectively. There will be a mix of warm leads and an element of business development so you should be used to picking up the phone, generating your own business, networking and developing a sales pipeline.

We will consider all applications, but preference will be giving to people who can strongly evidence:

  • A background of working within a targeted sales environment, ideally within the hospitality/hotel industry
  • Ability to provide accurate sales forecasting information
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • An ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of PMS systems/solutions
  • A track record of attending trade shows to network and introduce products to new customers
